The Short Story:

It's the year 2439, the race master Gallea Flynn has died.  Friends and fans alike have gathered together to pay their last respects, and attend an off circuit race meet in her honor at her home world, Alluri Prime.

Attending the event is her young rookie apprentice James Ngaio, and her ex-husband, race master Dante lau.

It's James last chance to impress someone of Dante's level in the racing community, and his last chance to get a place on a sanctioned Barrier League racing team... All he has to to is win!

The Production:

The Barrier short film production kicked into gear in April 2009 after a meeting between creator/producer  Sheldon Whittaker, and producers, Morgan Buchanan, and Terry Shepherd.

With access to experienced scifi writers, a professional film crew, and quality actors, we decided that it was time to show the world what Barrier is all about.

Scheduled for a September 19th 2009 shoot date, then followed by a six month post production schedual, we intend to release the short pilot mid 2010 to the web.
